The Story of how I began

My journey into photography began long before I ever photographed a wedding.

At sixteen, I moved to the United States by myself, leaving behind my family, friends, and everything familiar. In a season of constant change, photography became my way of holding onto moments that felt important. It taught me that memories become more valuable with time, and that a single photograph can bring you back to a feeling you thought you'd forgotten.

Years later, while studying at UC Irvine, I photographed my first Indian wedding. I still remember watching families come together, seeing generations gathered in one place, and witnessing emotions too big for words. As an immigrant, those moments resonated deeply with me. I understood how precious it is to have the people you love all in one place, celebrating something meaningful.

That wedding changed everything.

What started as a love for photography became a passion for preserving stories, relationships, and memories that deserve to be remembered. More than a decade later, I still feel incredibly honored every time a couple trusts me to document one of the most important days of their lives.
